AA Shooting School provides clay pigeon shooting lessons near Blandford in North Dorset easy reach of Bournemouth and Poole. Located close to the Wiltshire and Somerset borders, we are ideally placed for weekend breaks or longer holidays, with local accommodation nearby.
We offer personal one-to-one sessions by appointment to introduce you to the sport, or to refine your technique. If you’re looking for an exciting activity for a group, then clay pigeon shooting is a great option. We welcome stag and hen parties, family groups, friends, and corporates. Our traps provide a wide range of targets to suit all abilities, with a tower and simulated game drive. If you’re looking to improve a particular target, then we can focus on that area, and provide constructive and useful pointers to help.
We are operate from 10am to 5pm Wednesday to Friday , Saturday 10 till 1pm. All lessons by appointment only

Clay Shooting Safety first
We provide all safety equipment and take safety seriously. All visitors to the school will be provided with ear protection, and eye protection and peaked cap are provided for those shooting. Clay shooting has a very good safety record that must be maintained
We follow the BASC shotgun safety code of practice at all times.
About Your Clay shooting Instructor
Norman Fuller is a qualified clay shooting instructor and a member of the Association of Professional Shooting Instructors (APSI). His many years of experience are ideal for introducing beginners to clay pigeon shooting, or for helping seasoned shots to refine their technique on either Clays or Game. Whatever your level, you’re assured of a patient and experienced instructor to help you make the most of your day.
